A word of advice for someone i know: don't whine and complain to someone else about how sad your life is, expect comfort, then turn around and shove it back at the other person's face. It just goes to show how much you want to wallow in self-pity.

Idiots like that piss me off. But I'll still be nice and not disclose your identity since you don't read my blog anyway.

I just went for the Singapore Entertainment Awards yesterday night, and it was a blast! Not that much of a typical awards show, but more of inviting the winners to come perform. Thanks to Charlene (and her roy) for the tickets! I'm so glad I went. It was such a great feeling to forget all about school and applying for jobs and to just sit back and enjoy great music. Kinda made me want to stand on stage. lol. I always have these urges from time to time.

I was also quite impressed by all the local artistes who performed. I mean, I know their names and their works, but its so rare to get to see so many of them, mainstream or not, join forces and perform together on the same stage. Imagine: Budak Pantai and Stef Sun, Joi Chua and JJ Lin with Ong Kheng Long (very famous in the music scene for being one of the best keyboardists), Kaira Gong and the AMPs! Very rare pairings, but they presented really good performances. There is hope for the local music industry yet. :D

Suddenly there are lots of cds i want to buy, because they impressed me so. I'm gonna write a list just to remind myself:
1. Derrick Hoh
2. Cheer Chen
3. Taiwanese newcomer called Zuo Guang Ping
4. Olivia Ong
5. AMPs if Jim Lim sings lol.

I can't believe half of my last term is gone already. And I'm still mugging like nobody's business. Isn't the final term supposed to be relaxed, enjoying school without suffering for it, and all that? Well I guess I won't get to have that kind of experience because the modules I picked require a lot of work. So. Yay!

Why am I blogging? Because there's a midterm tomorrow. Check out my loving tribute to my prof on msn. He's rather funny, just really all over the place and not very organized this sem. That said, he still amuses me in class so I guess all complaints are made in a half-amused, half-exasperated tone. Heh.

Nothing much to update actually, haven't had a very exciting life these days. But it was great catching up with most of Blewky last week. We still can make each other laugh even though we rarely get to meet up. :) I always start a bout of nostalgia for JC life after I meet you guys. Ahh, those carefree days... (somehow my memories of JC life and A levels mugging are totally separate. Mentally compartmentalizing my joys and pains. What a developed thing the brain is.)

Ok I should get back to studying, even though I wish I were doing something else, like msning, or sleeping! Best weather to sleep right now, so rainy and stormy. zzzzz.
