People are much deeper than you think. What we show to the world everyday is, implying nothing negative, a facade. Everyone has stuff they don't want to tell people around them, even if these are people you call friends. I respect that, I just wonder how many people I can tell my secrets to, and how many will tell me theirs. If we can't tell each other what we are really thinking, what, then, is the point of behaving like we know these people well? In the course of our lives we will meet lots of people, but how many are friends whom you really know and trust?

Thought-provoking huh.. Random philosophical rant that just crossed my mind.

I am SO BORED with school... Shouldn't be complaining about anything, seeing as I'm still a carefree student, but I want to let off steam lah..

On a happier note, need to start planning budget for exchange liao.. But I'm a total goon when it comes to gauging market prices of traveling, etc etc etc. The only thing I'm more familiar with is the exchange rate, which is not the main point leh! How? I really need to do research man.. Actually I think I'm just lazy to start. Haha.

Anyway, here are some pictures of BERN!! (koped them off the net, haha) I'm definitely excited man, my childhood dream of going Switzerland and Europe finally fulfilled!

Wow. Another long silence from me. Busy leh! So much work to do in school, plus now I'm taking 5 modules (at least 3 of which have MOUNTAINS of readings to do each week). Can die loh. And yet I'm the queen of distractions. Instead of doing work, I am facebooking (latest fave), blog-surfing, chatting online, etc. No wonder I keep complaining I have no time. Now, I'm BLOGGING. It never stops! Haha. Ok, shall try to do something constructive.. Oh wait, someone's talking to me online......

Ok, realize that it has been more than 1 week since i last blogged. I think I have this wild notion that my blog will somehow update itself with stuff, and i totally forgot that I should be the one who's doing the updating. Haha..

Anyway, I watched 881! OMG it was so nice. I know some people would not agree, but its Royston Tan's style. I have loved his short films ever since he came to HCJC for the first time during J1 to talk to us during assembly. And I always looked forward to his trips to our school, and he did come around 3 or 4 times during my 2 years in JC, if I remember correctly. Great to see a homegrown director (who's not Jack Neo who only does safe poking fun of the govt with unbelievable happy endings) to have such a successful showing in cinemas. Very rare leh!

And the theme song 一人一半 by 伍家辉 is still stuck in my head. Listening to it on repeat mode. Love it!
