So many people ask this question, but it is rarely answered succintly and to the point. This simple word might result in endless pages of explanations, and it rarely gets a short answer.
Ok, I'm rambling with no idea where I am heading. This is the same case for the stupid paper! I am nearly brain dead liao.. I don't even have any idea what I want to talk about in this post. Haha.
Well, in response to Wini's tags (yay! I'm blogging about you again! lol) I must say i miss the JC days. Of course not the mugging for exams and the stress of trying to cram 2 yrs worth of knowledge in within 2 months, but the extremely fun BLEWKY outings we always had! Life was so carefree in those days. Sigh.. Even when we meet up now we talk about stuff like school and internships and whatnots, while the real important stuff like catching up is pushed to the sidelines. Everyone is also too bogged down by work to meet for like 1 whole day when we can just sit and chill and talk about anything under the sun. This sucks. Will we be able to ever recreate those times? I really hope so. Let's try, BLEWKY!

Week 13 has arrived. THE hell week. Non-SMUers can't really understand the feelings that accompany this week, mostly because they have not experienced the horrors firsthand. I am DAMN stressed lah.. Most reports and presentations are due this week, and I have been arriving home with this extremely black face (too tired to rearrange my features into a more pleasing one, basically) everyday. haha.
Even now I am supposed to start preparing for my marketing presentation tomorrow, but I'll put it off for a bit lah. Just abit. Let me relax.. :(
Anyway my stress level has been leveled up by yet another internship interview (why can't they just hire based on my well-done cover letter) because the person simply refuses to let me have the interview next week. No idea why. She gave me a whole list of things to bring (damn demanding) and its quite obvious the interview needs lots of preparations, but she refuses to even entertain thoughts of pushing it to next week. I mean hello, you emailed me on tues to inform me about an interview on THURSDAY of the same week. How short notice is that? Don't blame me if I'm not prepared loh. I think I am really in a bitchy mood, since I have already been complaining abt this to Charlene for the better part of the afternoon. But still. These people seem to think that just because we apply for the positions, we are completely at their disposal. Any time is a good time for interview. SERIOUSLY. Sound so unfriendly on the phone somemore. Someone take my place and get through the week for me please....
haha.. ok.. too much angst and bitching for one post.. lol.. stress does that to me.
P/S: wini don't complain that this post is not readable again hor :(

By request from Wini.. haha.. and it is very accurate as well
Gemini and Libra When Gemini and Libra form a friendship, its one of awareness as well as collaborative strength. These friends are equals intellectually. Libra has a balancing spirit that is attractive to Gemini, who also has somewhat of a dual nature. The two are well matched, as both are intellectual Air signs. However, Libra has a tendency to start things and not finish them. If they can encourage each other to choose priorities and follow through, the friendship is destined for success. Both Gemini and Libra have a lot of mental energy, and working together they can come up with great ideas and common goals. Gemini is more apt to stand back and pontificate rather than shining in the spotlight. Libra wants intellectual freedom and is able to look at all sides of an argument to see Gemini's reasoning. When Gemini vacillates, Libra can help stabilize their decisions, but they also need to be careful to allow Gemini intellectual space and not be overly demanding. Libra is ruled by the Planet Venus, and Gemini is ruled by the Planet Mercury. These Planets represent communication and love and romance. Because of this combination, Libra and Gemini get along great as collaborators -- they are good at getting their point across in many different ways. They will not have many disagreements, as Libra strives for peace and harmony. Gemini, on the other hand, will regard a debate as a bit of fun and intellectual challenge. Gemini needs to understand that Libra will usually avoid a disagreement at all costs.

omg this is hilarious.. anyone who knows how me and Charlene interact should understand why.. lol..
Gemini and Leo When Gemini and Leo form a friendship, it is a playful and high-spirited connection. There is a lot of movement and optimism in this friendship. Leo has a spirit of creativity that is attractive to Gemini, who enjoys mental stimulation. Arguments may arise if Leo takes Gemini's flirtatious nature too seriously, or if Gemini feels that Leo wants total control of their friendship. They are well matched, though Leo wants to experience things firsthand, and Gemini would rather examine them from several different angles. Together they can discover and understand more than they would alone. Both Leo and Gemini have a lot of energy, and when spending time together they can come up with great ideas and common goals. Neither Sign is a slacker! Leo likes the freedom to jump into projects and give the orders. Gemini wants intellectual freedom and is able to look at all sides of an argument and see the reasoning behind their Leo friend's choices. When Geminis vacillate, Leo can help them make decisions, but they also need to be careful to allow Gemini intellectual space and not be too overbearing or bossy. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and Gemini is ruled by the Planet Mercury. These Planets represent communication and individual expression. Due to the compatible nature of these planetary energies, Leo and Gemini get along well as unit -- they are skilled at getting their point across in different ways. They may also have heated debates, but where Gemini does it for fun and intellectual challenge, Leo takes it more seriously. The Twins need to learn how seriously their friend takes such repartee and be careful not to cross boundaries.

yes, TnA sucks.. I have been looking at my articles for the literature review I am supposed to do, and guess what? In nearly 4 hours I have only done ONE bloody review for one article.. Argh. I really must do something about my inefficiency towards TnA-related things, since the research paper (worth 40%) is due next thursday, as Charlene just reminded me.
However, I can safely tell you that resolving to do something is not the same as DOING it. Look at me now. Definitely not doing TnA-related stuff. Well, the articles are just right in front of me trying to get my attention, but I am concentrating on this post instead. How motivating.
Anyway, I at least have increased the word count of my research essay. I have a grand total of...... 65 words. (Word limit is 1500.. at least I am still within that.. lol)
Hope to have dinner so.. So I get to put off some more work till I get home.. lol

crap.. The problem with having a standard template is that there will be people who have the same layout as you! Damn scary.. Prompted me to change the template immediately.. to another standard one. Yes, I know I'm sticking my head into the sand, since there is bound to be others with this layout as well, but that's all there is to it before I can find one that I really really like.

argh.. i HATE bad writing.. been staring at the same bloody word document for the past 3 hours. I think reading so much bad writing is starting to take a toll on my writing ability. I am starting to make ridiculous grammar mistakes as well. Now I have even greater respect for editors and people in the group who do the editing for project reports. They really have to deal with alot of awkward sentences and other glaring mistakes.

Been obsessed over a manga I discovered by accident.
Its called Princess. It's by a Korean author called Han Seong Won, and it's more like an epic cos now it has already reached vol 27 and is still going strong. Its beautifully drawn, and the storyline is great. It focuses more on the loves of the various characters, but it is set in a politically volatile time, where the war to invade one of the countries goes on for the 1st 17 volumes. What drives events are politics and ambition, and many of the loves in this story are unrequited or cannot be made legitimate. Really worth a read, and I will definitely be anxiously awaiting the next volume once I finish the ones that are already out.

wahh.. there are people who posted on my blog!! hahah.. this thing was only started on an impulse, but I seem to be writing on it extremely often. And I shall continue to do that! Though the formatting and stuff would have to wait till I'm more free to search and learn how to add links.. lol..
Anyway, yesterday was an extremely BAD day for me. I was supposed to go for this internship interview in the afternoon at 5pm, so I did not go for MIC AAR. For some reason, everyone still called me and asked for information about when and where it was. I think I might have moved the booking confirmation someplace else, which resulted in Jessie not being able to find it (sorry..). So she kept calling me and I got out of the house later than expected. When I got to the bus stop there were no buses AT ALL even after waiting for like 25 min.. no idea why all buses like to conspire against me when I'm in a hurry and get out a little later. In the end, had to take a cab to Suntec City -_-" (waste my money loh)
The interview was quite CRAP. It was a group interview, and the people in charge talked more than the applicants did. Well, granted they were letting us know more about the job scope and the company, but at the end of like 45 min, they still did not know much about us. So they kept prompting us to talk about ourselves. And the funny thing is, once a person starts talking about a particular area (eg language), EVERYONE decided to show off in the same area as well. I had a feeling the interviewers were not too impressed by all of us. So my conclusion at the end was: Find another internship to apply for.
After leaving the interview, had to go for tuition. I know people always say don't schedule things after job interviews, but this was arranged long before I got notified of the interview. So even though I was tired, had to go. Took a bus towards Bukit Timah, initially wanted to stop for dinner at macs cos I was DAMN hungry lah, but I did not say it was a bad day for nothing. The bus took 50 minutes to go from SMU to Bukit Timah (normal trip takes 30 min), by which time I would be late if I stopped for dinner. What's more, it started to pour just 2 bus stops before Macdonalds, so I could not even go and ta pao. I was mentally (and maybe also literally) shaking my head, and this voice in my head kept telling me, "today is your bad day". (Hey, thanks for the information. Like I could not see for myself.) Had to call my aunt for help, and she came to fetch me to my student's place.
You know all the times when you could not move from a shelter cos it was pouring, but when your ride or savior with an umbrella comes, the rain stops? Well yesterday was one of those days. It completely stopped raining when I reached my student's house, and of course I had no time for dinner. Only had dinner after tuition, when I was absolutely starving. Damn sian.
What a day. Was it any wonder that I was dead tired when I finally reached home?

Ok.. I think i'm mad over this blogging thing, but never mind.. Its only the first day.. muahah.. soon I predict that I will not even post for like many many days or weeks.
Anyway, these few days were very eventful.
Tues: Had marketing class until 130, after which I had to do CAT (Computer as an Analysis Tool.. whatever) Saw wini (yes here she appears again) and we decided to go relax for awhile before going home. However she was really feeling unwell and had a slight fever, and she was feeling quite cold even though there wasn't much of a breeze where we were sitting out in the open. I offered her my jacket, even though there is a slight size disparity. So she had to squeeze into my jacket for the next few hours, trying her darnedness to fit into my jacket and keep warm from it.
And you may ask me, what's the point of this entire paragraph? Well, Wini found it funny and kept telling it to people we knew. And I swear my jacket was never the same after this incident.
Wed: Had CAT project presentation, which wasn't the greatest. But its ok.. at least its over.
The more jing bao thing happened at night.. Charlene told me about an internship opening that was closing at midnight. Hence, I rushed out my cover letter by 11pm and asked various people to vet it. These all take time, right? By the time all was well and settled, it was 1145pm. Let's look at the breakdown of the time.
1145pm: Started to access OnTRAC 1146pm: page loaded successfully; logged on 1150pm: the page was stuck at "I accept", just before the page where all the internship positions were listed. 1152pm: still loading. Gave up and asked Charlene for help 1153pm: CHARLENE'S COM HANG! Asked Paul for help. 1154pm: he logged on using my username; page started to load 1155pm: page still loading AND loading AND loading.......................... . . . . 12 midnight: error message given on the page
In the end, the application closed before I could submit my resume and cover letter, and I had to resort to sending them out by email. Hope it does not jeopardize my chances of getting the internship :(
Moral of story: never leave things till so last minute. More importantly, NEVER TRUST THE SCHOOL WEBSITE AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS!
Well, that was a long post! Especially since my current state is rather equivalent to being brain dead.. lol.. shall update soon, if time and deadlines permit :)

Contrary to what i just said, I'm back again!
Wini says i sound very tired and sian in my first blog:(
Really meh?
No lah.. i'm just not haha-ing.. lol.. anyway.. good news! i have a TAGBOARD!! how rocks am I.. haha..
There are so many things I still wanna say in this post. However, the stupid blogger is not loading! I think it’s the school internet connection.. ok.. I shall do the interesting story-telling (yeah wini, your story) when I get home and AFTER my marketing quiz.. haha..
ok this is really the last post of the day :p
side note: how to sound happy when I got so many deadlines?
1:01 PM
First blog post ever!
This was born out of an impulse during TnA class -- theory and analysis in sociology for the uninitiated. I saw jerena doing her first post and decided to post on the BLEWKY blog, after which i started this! haha..
Anyway this is one of the times when there are tonnes of important things to do but none of them are ever the priority. Instead, crap things like creating a blog and posting on it are the first ones don I am actually supposed to be studying for my marketing quiz later at 5pm, but what am I doing? Definitely not reading my notes.
I know this blog is quite ugly since it IS the template provided, and if anyone *coughbellcough* complains about how not zai it is, please help me design. I thank you in advance, yeah?
Anyway I realise that I am quite behind the times when it comes to having a blog, since even my BROTHER, younger one, mind you, also has one. (I know, even though he doesn't seem to want to show it to me) So this perhaps is finally me fitting into the majority of people my age, even though most of them probably only post like 10 times in 1 year -_-"
So, I shall stop here and try my hardest to concentrate on the task at hand, which is currently marketing. (ilovemarketingilovemarketingilovemarketingilovemarketingilovemarketing)
